Possessing worlds longest river, Jebel Auwlia was the worlds largest dam at the time of completed construction in 1937. Today the dam is still operational runs but with many inefficiencies and considerable less power output than conventional dams today.

Jebel Auwlia dam is one of Sudan’s 6 dams and is situated along the white Nile.
